At Glassy, your privacy comes first. Glassy is designed to be a privacy-focused Chrome extension that does not track your browsing activity or collect your personal content.

Your notes, shortcuts, widgets, wallpapers, tasks, bookmarks, dashboard layout, and all other personal customization remain on your own device. Glassy does not upload or store this information on our servers.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information required to authenticate your account and manage your membership.

• Google Account Information
  Your Google account email address, display name, profile picture, and unique Google User ID (UID) are used only for secure sign-in and account identification.
• Membership Information
  Your account status (Trial or Premium), activation date, subscription status, and payment verification details are stored to manage access to premium features.
• Payment Information
  When purchasing Premium, we store limited transaction information such as the PayPal Order ID and payment status for verification purposes. Glassy never stores your credit card or financial information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Glassy does not collect, upload, read, analyze, monitor, or sell any of the following:

• Your browsing history
• Your visited websites
• Your browser tabs
• Your searches
• Your notes
• Your shortcuts
• Your bookmarks
• Your tasks or to-do lists
• Your wallpapers
• Your dashboard customization
• Any other personal content stored inside the extension

All of the above information remains stored locally on your own device using Chrome's local storage.

3. Local Storage

Glassy stores your dashboard preferences locally using chrome.storage.local. This allows the extension to load quickly while keeping your personal information private.

Local data never leaves your computer unless you explicitly choose to share information with us.

4. Cloud Services

Glassy uses Supabase only for secure account authentication and membership verification.

Our cloud database stores only the information necessary to operate your account, including:

• Email address
• Google User ID (UID)
• Display name
• Profile picture
• Membership status
• Trial activation date
• Payment verification information

None of your personal dashboard content is uploaded to Supabase.

5. Third-Party Services

Glassy relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver secure authentication and payment processing.

• Google Identity Services
  Used only to authenticate your Google account securely.
• Supabase
  Used for secure account authentication and membership verification.
• PayPal
  Used to securely process Premium purchases. Payment information is handled directly by PayPal and is never stored by Glassy.

6. Data Management

You may clear all locally stored Glassy settings at any time using the built-in Clear All Data option inside the extension.

If you would like your Glassy account information removed from our servers, you may contact us using the feedback form available on the Glassy Website . We will review and process legitimate deletion requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your account information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as Glassy evolves. Any significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date shown above.
